День 1. Arrival at Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our friendly representative will greet you just outside the terminal with a placard bearing your full name. From there, you'll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in the city. Take this time to relax and settle in after your flight.

In the afternoon, we’ll host a pre-trip briefing at our office, where you’ll meet your trekking guide or tour leader. This session is important for final preparations, so feel free to ask any questions about the trek. Please bring the following items to the meeting:
• Your passport
• 2 passport-sized photos
• A copy of your travel insurance policy (if not sent to us via email)

You'll also be asked to sign a legally binding trip agreement and a non-liability disclaimer form.
After the briefing, if time allows, you can explore one of Kathmandu’s cultural landmarks nearby. In the evening, head to Thamel, the lively tourist district known for its diverse restaurants and local shops. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your first Nepali dinner or try international cuisine before your adventure begins.
День 2. Drive / Flight to Pokhara
Today, you'll journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara—either by scenic road or a short domestic flight. If you choose the drive, prepare for an immersive travel experience. The road winds through lush hillsides, terraced farms, charming villages, and follows the flow of glistening rivers like the Trishuli and Marshyangdi. This overland route offers a firsthand glimpse into Nepal’s natural beauty and rural life—an adventure in itself.

If you opt for a flight, you’ll enjoy a quick yet unforgettable 25-minute aerial view of the Himalayan range and the diverse landscapes below—a perfect start to your trekking journey.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, often called the "Gateway to the Annapurna Region," you’ll be greeted by serene lakes and awe-inspiring mountain views. The city sits beside the tranquil Phewa Lake, with reflections of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Lamjung Himal dancing on its surface.

Spend the rest of your day soaking in Pokhara’s relaxed charm. You may take a peaceful boat ride on the lake, try paragliding from Sarangkot for a bird’s-eye view of the Himalayas, or simply stroll along the lakeside, where cafés, shops, and mountain views create the perfect backdrop to unwind.
День 3. Drive from Pokhara to Kande then Trek to Landruk Village
Your adventure to Mardi Himal Base Camp officially begins today. After a nourishing breakfast in Pokhara, we embark on a scenic 1-hour drive to Kande, the starting point of our trek. From here, the trail to Landruk Village spans approximately 10 kilometers and is celebrated for its beautiful variety of landscapes, charming villages, and the warm-hearted locals you’ll meet along the way.

The trek kicks off through dense, emerald forests that come alive in spring with vibrant rhododendron blossoms. As you ascend gently, you’ll reach the Australian Camp, a perfect vantage point for panoramic Himalayan views. The trail continues to Potana and then to Pritam Deurali, where the scenery unfolds into breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. Snow-draped peaks such as Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna dominate the horizon.

From Pritam Deurali, the trail descends gradually, transitioning into flatter terrain as we make our way toward Landruk Village. Nestled amidst terraced fields and hillsides, Landruk is a traditional Gurung settlement offering peace, cultural richness, and authenticity. With its stone-built houses, tranquil setting, and sweeping mountain vistas, it provides the perfect place to rest and immerse yourself in the rhythms of village life and traditional Nepalese hospitality.
День 4. Trek from Landruk Village to Rest Camp
Today marks the second day of our trek, and we now leave behind all traces of city life, villages, and roads. From here on, it’s just you and the pristine wilderness. The trail gently ascends through a dense and diverse forest filled with rhododendron, oak, maple, and hemlock trees—home to a rich array of Himalayan flora and fauna.

After around three hours of steady ascent through the tranquil woods, we arrive at Forest Camp, a small but welcoming settlement nestled within the greenery. Here, we pause for a well-deserved lunch while enjoying stunning views—on one side, the towering Annapurna massif, and on the other, the picturesque Ghandruk Village.

Following our lunch break, the trail continues for about an hour to Rest Camp. Keep your eyes open along the way—you may spot colorful Himalayan birds and perhaps even glimpse shy forest wildlife, making the journey even more enchanting.

Rest Camp is a peaceful stopover that caters to trekkers en route to Mardi Himal Base Camp. Cozy teahouses offer simple but warm accommodations and wholesome meals to recharge your energy. Take time to relax, share stories with fellow adventurers, and soak in the serenity and stunning views of the Annapurna range and rolling hills surrounding the camp.
День 5. Trek from Rest Camp to High Camp
After savoring a beautiful sunrise and a hearty breakfast, we begin our ascent along a scenic ridge, heading toward the majestic Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre mountains. As the forest gradually thins, the open sky reveals sweeping panoramic views. Looking down to the left, you’ll see the Modi River valley and the vast Annapurna Sanctuary stretching toward the horizon.

This region is renowned for its rich biodiversity, boasting a variety of flowers, birds, and wildlife. With some luck, you might even spot Nepal’s national bird, the vibrant Danphe (Lophophorus).

Our next stop is Low Camp, a spectacular campsite offering towering, close-up views of Machhapuchhre. It’s so breathtaking that you could easily lose track of time just admiring the peak—so near, yet so majestic.

Leaving the enchanting Low Camp is bittersweet, but the trek continues, bringing us closer to the mountains and even more stunning vistas.
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of steady climbing through the forest, we reach Badal Danda, one of the finest viewpoints on the trek. From here, delightful views unfold of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Mardi Himal itself.

As we ascend above the treeline, the trail follows the rugged Mardi Himal ridge until we arrive at High Camp. This spot offers a breathtaking array of mountain views and provides ample time to rest, acclimatize, and explore this spectacular mountain setting.
День 6. Day hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp and return to High Camp
We rise early today to witness a stunning sunrise, accompanied by a warm cup of tea and a wholesome breakfast. After soaking in the breathtaking dawn, we begin our hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp. The base camp lies about 1 km further uphill, and the trek takes roughly 3 hours along a well-maintained trail that follows a grassy ridge.

As we walk, we are treated to magnificent views of some of the Himalayas’ most iconic peaks: Mardi Himal (5,587m / 17,060 ft), Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545 ft), Annapurna South (7,219m / 23,684 ft), Hiunchuli (6,441m / 21,132 ft), Bhara Shikhar (7,647m / 25,088 ft), Tharpu Chuli/Tent Peak (5,695m / 18,684 ft), Gandharba Chuli (6,248m / 20,498 ft), Machhapuchhre or Fishtail (6,997m / 22,956 ft), Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,550 ft), and many others—all towering majestically around us.

After spending time absorbing the serene beauty and capturing the perfect moments at this spectacular site, we hike back down to High Camp. There, we’ll relax and enjoy the peaceful evening, reflecting on the unique experience and stunning scenery that surrounds us.
День 7. Trek To Shidding and then drive to Pokhara
Leaving the breathtaking views of High Camp behind is always bittersweet. The trek back to Siding is mostly downhill and much easier. From Low Camp, we take a left turn and continue descending approximately 1,600 meters. As we descend, the landscape gradually changes to a warmer climate with friendly, welcoming villages along the way.

Siding Village offers a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic Nepali culture through homestay accommodations. Here, you can immerse yourself in the daily life of your host family, enjoying their warmth and hospitality.

After a delicious lunch in Siding, our private vehicle will be ready to take us back to Pokhara. Upon arrival, it's time to celebrate the successful completion of the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek with your trekking team and cherish the memories made on this unforgettable journey.
День 8. Drive/flight to Kathmandu
This morning, you will depart Pokhara by an early deluxe tourist bus or an afternoon flight to Kathmandu, depending on your preference and schedule. If you wish to extend your adventure, there are exciting options to explore nearby, including thrilling white-water rafting, a wildlife safari in Chitwan National Park, a visit to Lumbini—the birthplace of Lord Buddha—paragliding, or cultural sightseeing around Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your chosen hotel to relax and refresh. In the evening, we will come together to celebrate the successful completion of your trek with a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, featuring vibrant cultural performances that showcase Nepal’s rich heritage.
День 9. Final Depature
Your unforgettable journey in the heart of the Himalayas comes to a close today. After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Kathmandu—perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant streets, or pick up some last-minute souvenirs to remember your time in Nepal.

At the scheduled time, a representative from Namaste Nepal Trekking & Research Hub, will escort you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. As you head home, take with you the incredible memories of majestic mountains, rich cultural encounters, and the warm hospitality of the Nepali people.

If you want to cancel, please inform us as soon as possible. Specific cancellation fees may additionally follow based on the timing of your cancellation relative to your trip's beginning date.

Complete visa information to enter Nepal.

A visa for Nepal can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on the Nepal-India border, and Kodari and Rashuwagadi on the Nepal-China border.

Outside of Nepal, A visa can also be obtained at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission.

To renew a Visa you can go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, and Kathmandu.

A valid Passport and 1 Passport-size photo.

Visa can be obtained only through payment of cash in the following currency: Euro, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, US Dollcurrenciesralian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar and Japanese Yen.

Credit cards, Indian currency, and Nepali currency are not accepted as payment of visa fees

The following visa fees have come into effect from 17 July 2019 (as per the Nepal Government's decision made on 26 May 2019.

Please follow these simple procedures for a Tourist Visa on Arrival at the airport (TIA) if you have not acquired a Visa prior to boarding the plane.

1 st Step

Fill in the ' Arrival Card'

Fill in the Online ' Tourist Visa ' form (you can fill it up prior to your arrival by visiting our official website Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport). If you fill it out from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after. If so, you will have to fill it up again.

2nd Step

Make payment at the bank according to your visa requirement (15/30/90 Days)

While you can use different modes of payments (at the visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

3rd Step

Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form, payment receipts, and your passport. Hand in your documents to the immigration officer for visa processing.
