In the afternoon, meet your expert local guide for a gentle family-friendly stroll to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic royal square offers a fascinating glimpse into Nepal’s rich culture and architecture.

День 2. Full Day Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, your sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley will start. You will have a professional tour guide with a private vehicle. Today you will visit following cultural wonders of Kathmandu valley:

Swambhunath Stupa/Monkey temple:
Is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, Swayambhunath is among the oldest religious sites in Nepal. The Swayambhunath consists of a stupa and a variety of shrines and temples. A Tibetan monastery, museum and library are more recent additions. And we can see 360 degree view of Kathmandu valley. Pashupatinath Temple:
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most important and significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world. Located on the bank of the Holy Bagmati River near the airport. The major temple is strictly for Hindus only even though you are not allowed to go inside the main temple you can clearly see the temple and the activities from the other bank of the river.

Boudhanath Stupa:
Another UNESCO World Heritage site; Boudhanath another holiest site of Kathmandu valley. It was built in the 5th century with pairs of eyes on all 4 directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings.

Patan durbar square:
City of Fine Arts Patan; The ancient royal palace of Patan faces on to magnificent Durbar Square. This concentrated mass of temples is perhaps the most visually stunning display of Newari architecture to be seen in Nepal. The historic monument which describes the oldest architecture of Nepal is Patan durbar square, Temple construction in the square went into overdrive during the Malla period (14th to 18th centuries),

Kathmandu Durbar Square:
After finished sightseeing in Patan on the way to your hotel, our driver will drop you to Kathmandu Durbar Square (only if you are staying at Thamel) from where you can walk back to Thamel through a narrow and oldest open street market of Asan. In Kathmandu durbar square you can see the following:

День 3. Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan Temple and Hike to Nagarkot
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, get ready for a culturally rich and nature-filled day. Around 8:00–9:00 AM, your friendly Namaste Nepal Trekking guide will pick you up, and we’ll set off on a scenic drive of about 40–45 minutes to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nepal.

Known as the “City of Devotees,” Bhaktapur is a living museum of traditional Newari art, architecture, and culture. As you stroll through its cobblestone streets with your family, you’ll discover:
• 55 Window Palace (Pachpanna Jhyale Durbar) – A masterpiece of wood craftsmanship.
• Nyatapola Temple – The tallest pagoda-style temple in Nepal, dedicated to Goddess Siddhi Lakshmi.
• Pottery Square – Watch local artisans handcraft clay pots, and for an extra bit of fun, take part in a family-friendly pottery-making session.
Next, we take a short 20–30 minute drive to Changu Narayan Temple, perched on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple is believed to be the oldest Hindu temple in Nepal, dating back over 1,500 years. Here you can:
• Admire ancient stone carvings and sculptures of Vishnu in various forms.
• Learn about Nepal’s religious history through intricate wooden and metal artworks.

After enjoying a delicious local lunch near Changu Narayan, it’s time for the final adventure of the day — a 3–4 hour scenic hike to Nagarkot. This gentle, family-friendly trail winds through terraced fields, charming villages, and lush hills, offering peaceful countryside views along the way.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Nagarkot, a serene hill station famous for its magical Himalayan panoramas. After checking into one of the area’s best hotels, head to the viewing tower or your private balcony to witness a breathtaking sunset over the Himalayan range, including peaks like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and even Mount Everest on a clear day.

After waking up to the peaceful hills of Nagarkot, it’s time to trade the cool mountain breeze for the warm, subtropical climate of the lowlands. Today, we set off early (around 7:00–8:00 AM) for a scenic drive from Nagarkot to Chitwan National Park, one of Nepal’s most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The journey takes about 6–7 hours (including refreshment stops), offering a changing landscape from rolling hills to lush plains. Along the way, you’ll pass terraced farms, winding rivers, and vibrant roadside towns — a true glimpse of Nepal’s diverse geography.

Upon arrival at your comfortable jungle lodge, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink and warm hospitality. After check-in, take some time to relax, freshen up, and soak in the tropical surroundings.

After a delicious lunch, your first Chitwan adventure begins with a guided Tharu Village tour. The Tharu people are the indigenous inhabitants of the Terai region, known for their unique traditions, colorful attire, and harmonious way of life. Your family will enjoy:

• Learning about Tharu farming methods and community life.

Next, lace up your walking shoes for a guided jungle walk. After returning to the lodge, enjoy a hearty breakfast and pack your bags for the next leg of your Family Tour in Nepal — the scenic drive to Pokhara, Nepal’s famous lake city. The journey covers approximately 150 kilometers and takes about 6 hours, following winding roads through charming villages, lush hills, and river valleys.

Evening in Pokhara
Stroll along the lively Phewa Lake promenade, where colorful boats sway gently on the water and the Himalayan peaks reflect in the still surface. You can relax at a lakeside café, enjoy a spa treatment, dine at one of the many family-friendly restaurants, or simply soak in the laid-back charm of this beautiful city.
Tomorrow, we begin exploring Pokhara’s highlights and surrounding viewpoints — so get some rest for another exciting day ahead.
День 7. Full-Day Pokhara Sightseeing Tour with Pumdikot Shiva Temple Sunset view
No Family Tour in Nepal would be complete without exploring the natural beauty and cultural treasures of Pokhara, the jewel of the Himalayas. Today is dedicated to discovering the city’s major attractions, enjoying peaceful moments by the lake, and ending the day with a spectacular sunset.

Morning – Phewa Lake Boating & Lakeside Bliss
After breakfast at your lakeside hotel, we’ll begin the day with a serene boating experience on Phewa Lake. Glide over the calm waters surrounded by lush green hills, with the snow-capped Annapurna range reflecting beautifully on the lake’s surface. Families can paddle together or simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful scenery. You may also spot the small Tal Barahi Temple, located on an island in the middle of the lake.

Late Morning – Devi’s Fall & Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
Next, we’ll visit Devi’s Fall (also known as Patale Chhango), a dramatic waterfall that disappears into a mysterious underground gorge. Inside the park, children and adults alike can enjoy dressing up in traditional Nepali costumes for fun family photographs.

Directly opposite Devi’s Fall lies the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, one of Nepal’s most famous cave temples. Inside, you’ll discover the sacred Shiva Linga, along with stunning rock formations and artistic carvings of Hindu deities. The sound of the hidden waterfall echoing inside the cave creates a mystical atmosphere.

Afternoon – World Peace Pagoda & Scenic Hills
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll drive up to the World Peace Pagoda, a gleaming white stupa perched on a hilltop. From here, you can take in sweeping views of Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and the towering peaks of the Annapurna range — perfect for family photos.

Evening – Pumdikot Shiva Temple & Sunset View
A short drive higher up the hill takes us to the magnificent Pumdikot Shiva Temple, home to Nepal’s second-largest Lord Shiva statue, standing 51 feet tall. From here, the panoramic view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range is breathtaking.

The temple grounds are lined with small souvenir shops where you can pick up local handicrafts and keepsakes for your loved ones. As the day draws to a close, we’ll enjoy the sunset over the Himalayas, watching the peaks glow in golden hues before returning to your lakeside hotel for a relaxing evening.

Today is one of the most scenic days of your Family Tour in Nepal. We start early, driving to Sarangkot Viewpoint (1,592 meters), a world-famous spot to witness the Himalayan sunrise. Arriving about 20 minutes before dawn ensures we catch the first golden rays illuminating the snow-capped peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu, with Pokhara city and Phewa Lake glowing below.

While here, we’ll also visit the recently built Ganesh Temple, a peaceful place for a short prayer or quiet reflection with the family. The combination of the temple’s charm and the breathtaking views creates a truly magical morning.

After soaking in the views, we return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest before the next adventure. By late morning, a scenic drive takes us to Kande, the starting point for our hike to Australian Camp. This 2–3 hour family-friendly trek meanders through rhododendron forests and terraced hillsides, offering spectacular views along the way.

Upon reaching Australian Camp, you’ll be greeted by sweeping vistas of the Annapurna range, including the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, and the wide Pokhara Valley below. The serene atmosphere makes it an ideal place to relax, try some yoga or meditation, or simply enjoy a family picnic. As evening falls, we’ll watch the changing colors of the mountains before settling into one of the best accommodations in the area for an overnight stay.

Wake up early to another unforgettable sunrise, this time from Australian Camp, as the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks glow in shades of pink, gold, and white. After a hearty breakfast, we set out on a gentle forest and village trail walk to Dhampus — a picturesque Gurung settlement at 1,650 meters.

This short, easy walk is perfect for families, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Upon arrival in Dhampus, you’ll be welcomed by stunning Himalayan views, traditional stone houses, and the warm hospitality of the Gurung people. It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to experience the local culture up close.

After lunch in Dhampus, we drive for about 2–3 hours to reach Bandipur, often called the “Queen of the Hills”. This charming hilltop town is known for its preserved Newari architecture, cobblestone streets, and sweeping views of the Himalayan range. Once we check in to our hotel, we’ll have the evening free to wander the town’s beautiful squares, enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, and soak in the cultural charm of Bandipur before turning in for the night.

Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you’ll check into your hotel to rest and freshen up after the day’s drive. In the evening, gather with the Namaste Nepal team for a special farewell dinner. Complete visa information to enter Nepal.

A visa for Nepal can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on the Nepal-India border, and Kodari and Rashuwagadi on the Nepal-China border.

Outside of Nepal, A visa can also be obtained at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission.

To renew a Visa you can go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, and Kathmandu.

A valid Passport and 1 Passport-size photo.

Visa can be obtained only through payment of cash in the following currency: Euro, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, US Dollcurrenciesralian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar and Japanese Yen.

Please follow these simple procedures for a Tourist Visa on Arrival at the airport (TIA) if you have not acquired a Visa prior to boarding the plane.

1 st Step

Fill in the ' Arrival Card'

Fill in the Online ' Tourist Visa ' form (you can fill it up prior to your arrival by visiting our official website Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport). If you fill it out from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after. If so, you will have to fill it up again.

2nd Step

Make payment at the bank according to your visa requirement (15/30/90 Days)

While you can use different modes of payments (at the visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

3rd Step
