День 1. Drive to Chitwan, Explore Ancient Tharu Village, and enjoy their cultural Program
After breakfast, begin your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu Valley to Chitwan National Park. Along the way, soak in breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain ranges, lush countryside, lower alpine forests, rolling green hills, and serene riversides.

Upon arrival at your hotel in Chitwan, meet your expert Jungle Safari and Nature Guide who will provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming jungle activities and the exciting wildlife experiences awaiting you.

After lunch, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the region with a visit to a nearby ethnic Tharu village. Here, you will get a fascinating insight into the traditional lifestyle, customs, and daily life of the Tharu people, the indigenous community of the Terai region.

Next, visit the National Park Visitor’s Centre to learn about the history of Chitwan National Park, its diverse wildlife, flora, and fauna. Later, enjoy the spectacular sunset from the peaceful banks of the Rapti River, a perfect moment to relax and connect with nature.

As evening falls, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner, followed by a captivating Tharu Cultural Program. Experience vibrant traditional dances such as the Tharu Stick Dance and Peacock Dance, accompanied by traditional music and authentic costumes, offering a unique window into the local heritage and traditions.
День 2. Canoeing, Elephant Bathing, Jeep safari, and visit crocodile Breeding Center.
Start your day early with a wake-up call, followed by a warm cup of tea or coffee to prepare you for the exciting adventures ahead. Your first activity is a serene canoe ride on a traditional dugout canoe along the Rapti River. This peaceful journey offers an excellent opportunity for bird watching and spotting two rare species of crocodiles—the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial.

Next, enjoy a refreshing jungle walk, and as you make your way back to the hotel for lunch, witness the fascinating spectacle of elephant bathing by the river. If you wish, you can join in and experience elephant bathing yourself—a truly memorable encounter with these gentle giants.

After lunch, gear up for a thrilling jeep safari deep inside Chitwan National Park, covering around 20 kilometers. This safari provides a fantastic chance to spot a wide range of wildlife including four species of deer, the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, wild boars, monkeys, elusive leopards, sloth bears, and if lucky, the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Alongside these, you’ll also encounter various birds, flora, and other smaller animals that call the park home.

Later in the afternoon, visit the Crocodile Breeding Center, located in a secluded area deep within the park. This center plays a vital role in conserving the endangered Gangetic crocodiles—known as Gharials or Mugars. Here, you’ll witness the fascinating life cycle of crocodiles from eggs to fully grown reptiles before they are released back into the wild, making your visit truly educational and unforgettable.

Start your day with a wake-up call and a warm cup of tea or coffee before heading out to visit the Government Elephant Breeding Centre. Elephants are among the most majestic creatures on Earth, and your knowledgeable nature guide will take you through the elephant stables, explaining their behavior, habits, and fascinating lives. Established in 1985, this center is dedicated to the captive breeding of domesticated elephants and plays a crucial role in conserving their population. Here, you will see several cow elephants along with their adorable calves and learn about ongoing efforts to increase the elephant population.

After returning for lunch, get ready for the highlight of your day—an Elephant Back Safari. This is one of the most popular and thrilling ways to explore Chitwan National Park. Riding high on an experienced elephant’s back, you will venture deep into the forest where you’ll have a great chance to encounter wildlife up close. Look out for the iconic one-horned rhinoceros, various deer species, wild boars, monkeys, elusive leopards, sloth bears, and if luck is on your side, the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Along the way, you’ll also spot many smaller mammals and enjoy the diverse flora that thrives in this incredible habitat.

After your bird-watching experience, return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast. Once you’re refreshed, it will be time to begin your journey back to Kathmandu.

If you wish to extend your adventure, you have several exciting options: you can visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, or explore the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. Alternatively, you can opt for a convenient 40-minute scenic flight back to Kathmandu to save time.

Complete visa information to enter Nepal.

A visa for Nepal can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on the Nepal-India border, and Kodari and Rashuwagadi on the Nepal-China border.

Outside of Nepal, A visa can also be obtained at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission.

To renew a Visa you can go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, and Kathmandu.

A valid Passport and 1 Passport-size photo.

Visa can be obtained only through payment of cash in the following currency: Euro, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, US Dollcurrenciesralian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar and Japanese Yen.

Credit cards, Indian currency, and Nepali currency are not accepted as payment of visa fees

Please follow these simple procedures for a Tourist Visa on Arrival at the airport (TIA) if you have not acquired a Visa prior to boarding the plane.

1 st Step

Fill in the ' Arrival Card'

Fill in the Online ' Tourist Visa ' form (you can fill it up prior to your arrival by visiting our official website Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport). If you fill it out from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after. If so, you will have to fill it up again.

2nd Step

Make payment at the bank according to your visa requirement (15/30/90 Days)

While you can use different modes of payments (at the visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

3rd Step

Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form, payment receipts, and your passport. Hand in your documents to the immigration officer for visa processing.
