День 1. Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,600 ft)
Welcome to Nepal! Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our friendly representative will greet you just outside the terminal with a placard bearing your full name. From there, you'll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in the city. Take this time to relax and settle in after your flight.

In the afternoon, we’ll host a pre-trip briefing at our office, where you’ll meet your trekking guide or tour leader. This session is important for final preparations, so feel free to ask any questions about the trek. Please bring the following items to the meeting:
• Your passport
• 2 passport-sized photos
• A copy of your travel insurance policy (if not sent to us via email)

You'll also be asked to sign a legally binding trip agreement and a non-liability disclaimer form.

After the briefing, if time allows, you can explore one of Kathmandu’s cultural landmarks nearby. In the evening, head to Thamel, the lively tourist district known for its diverse restaurants and local shops. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your first Nepali dinner or try international cuisine before your adventure begins.
День 2. Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola
Your Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley Trek officially begins with an early morning scenic drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola, the starting point of this incredible Himalayan journey. After breakfast, our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Gongabu Bus Station, where you'll board a local or private vehicle, depending on your package and preference.

The drive offers a captivating mix of rural charm and natural beauty, passing through vibrant towns, terraced fields, flowing rivers, and lush green hills. You'll stop along the highway for lunch and restroom breaks, giving you a chance to stretch and enjoy some local flavors.

The road is blacktopped until Dhading Besi, after which it becomes more rugged, unpaved, and bumpy, especially as you gain altitude. The final stretch from Arughat to Machha Khola can be dusty and challenging, but the mesmerizing landscape outside your window makes the journey rewarding.

Upon reaching Machha Khola (869m), your guide will lead you to a locally-run tea house, where you can relax after the long drive. In the evening, your trekking guide will conduct a briefing session about the next day's trek, helping you mentally and physically prepare for the adventure ahead.

День 3. Trek From Machha Khola to Jagat Village
After a nourishing breakfast at your tea house in Machha Khola, we begin the day’s trek along a narrow trail that gently winds alongside the Budhi Gandaki River. The morning air is fresh, and the soothing sound of the river accompanies us as we ascend through a lush forested trail. Keep your eyes open for playful monkeys and langurs swinging through the trees.

Our first major stop is at Khorla Besi (970m), a small settlement along the riverbank. From here, we cross the Budhi Gandaki and make our way to Tatopani (990m)—famous for its natural hot spring. If time permits, you may take a short dip in the therapeutic waters, which are believed to be beneficial for skin ailments and fatigue relief.

Leaving Tatopani behind, we cross a suspension bridge and pass through Labuchet, Thingjet, and Hulchuk, heading towards Dobhan. Along the way, we cross Dobhan Khola, where the Dobhan and Budhi Gandaki rivers meet. This village is a great place to take a short break and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

We then trek through Sulachet and Indur, following the trail to Yuru Khola (1,330m). The landscape begins to change here as we encounter more rugged terrain and occasional landslide zones. Continuing onward, we arrive at Uiya Village, a community hub with a local school, health post, and other basic services, making it a perfect lunch stop.

After lunch, the trail leads through Bhinchet, Faibang, Dungla, Rengbon, and Maiku, crossing two small streams and navigating carefully around landslide-prone areas. Eventually, we reach Lhakpa Village, and from here, it’s a short final push to Jagat Village (1,410m).

Jagat is the official entry point to the restricted Manaslu Conservation Area, and your trekking permits will be checked at the local checkpoint. The village, with its stone-paved paths and Tibetan-influenced architecture, offers a warm welcome after a full day’s trek.
День 4. Trek from Jagat Village to Lokpa Village
Today marks an exciting transition as we officially begin our journey into the Tsum Valley, one of the most secluded and spiritually rich regions in Nepal. After breakfast in Jagat, we set off on a scenic trail that gradually ascends through lush greenery and peaceful Himalayan villages.

Our trek starts with a gentle climb toward Salleri, offering panoramic views of Shringi Himal, followed by a descent toward Siridibas, a charming village with traditional stone houses and fluttering prayer flags. This area starts to feel more remote and peaceful, and you’ll notice fewer trekkers along the trail.

Soon after Siridibas, we descend to cross a suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River, where you’ll get a chance to interact with local villagers and observe their unique way of life. The trail then continues through terraced hillsides until we reach Philim Village, one of the largest settlements in the region. This village is known for its Gurung culture, well-built houses, and a school built with Japanese aid.
День 5. Trek from Lokpa Village to Chumling Village
Today’s trek from Lokpa to Chumling marks your first full day inside the enchanting Tsum Valley, and though it covers a relatively short distance, the trail is more physically demanding than one might expect. The path is filled with a series of steep ascents and descents that require both stamina and focus—but the natural and cultural rewards along the way are deeply fulfilling.

Shortly after leaving Lokpa, the trail narrows and begins to contour along a rugged cliffside. One of the most dramatic sections is the cantilever metal walkway, a steel pathway bolted directly into the rock face. This engineering marvel was rebuilt after being destroyed in the 2016 flood and served as the only lifeline for the Tsum Valley for months during recovery. Crossing it offers a thrilling sense of remoteness and adventure.

As you make your way through the dense forest of pine, fir, and rhododendron, the valley gradually begins to open up. You’ll cross a suspension bridge over the Shiar Khola, which flows down from the Tsum Valley, marking another significant transition in the journey. The final leg includes a steady climb into a broader, cultivated valley.

Arriving in Chumling (2,386m) feels like stepping into a hidden Himalayan world. This traditional village is known for its Tibetan-influenced architecture, ancient stone houses, and spectacular views of Ganesh Himal. To the north of the village, you’ll see terraced farmlands—evidence of generations of self-sustaining agriculture—while to the south, the Bhutan pine forest provides a serene natural backdrop.

After checking into a comfortable tea house, take time to explore the village, perhaps visiting the Chumling Gompa, or simply enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings. Tonight, rest well—tomorrow, the trail takes you even deeper into the cultural heart of the Tsum Valley.
День 6. Trek from Chumling Village to Chhokangparo Village
Today’s trek from Chumling to Chhokangparo offers not just a deeper immersion into the spiritual heart of Tsum Valley, but also introduces you to some of the most scenic and culturally rich landscapes along the route. While the distance may not seem far, the terrain can be challenging at times with steep sections and narrow trails, so a steady pace and short breaks are advised.

We begin by leaving Chumling behind and following the trail that gently ascends through alpine forest and stone-lined paths. After approximately two hours of trekking, we reach Dumje, a quiet resting point where we’ll take a short break to rehydrate and soak in the views. From here, the trail becomes more demanding as we descend to cross the Shiar Khola once again.

After crossing the river, we begin a steep uphill climb to Gho Village (2,575m). This section rewards us with panoramic views of the Ganesh Himal range, especially on a clear day, making the uphill effort worthwhile.
День 7. Trek to the Nile / Chulle Village: The Last Village of Tusm Valley
Today’s journey takes you deeper into the mystical heart of the Tsum Valley as we trek from Chhokangparo to Nile/Chhule, the last major settlement before the upper reaches of the valley. The route is filled with spiritual, cultural, and scenic wonders that make this day a memorable highlight of the Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley Trek.

After an early breakfast, we begin the trek heading north along the Shiar Khola, gradually gaining altitude through wide-open valley terrain. The trail is relatively gentle compared to previous days and flanked by stunning vistas of terraced fields, mani walls, chortens, and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. You’ll pass through small settlements such as Lamagaon, Burji, and Phurbe, where the influence of Tibetan Buddhist culture is deeply felt.

One of the key highlights of the day is the visit to the sacred Piren Phu Cave, also known as the Pigeon Cave. Situated near the village of Burji at the base of a towering cliff, this cave is believed to be a meditative site of the revered Tibetan saint Milarepa. Two monasteries—one small and one relatively larger—are built around the cave. Here, you’ll find ancient Buddha images, prayer flags, carved stones, and murals, all of which offer deep insight into the spiritual history of the Tsum Valley.

After soaking in the energy of this sacred site, we continue our journey along the western (sun-facing) side of the Shiar Khola to reach Nile/Chhule Village, which lies at an elevation of around 3,360 meters. These villages are only about 45 minutes apart and are nestled beneath snow-capped peaks, surrounded by cultivated fields and scattered Buddhist monuments.
You’ll spend the night in a tea house in Nile Village, enjoying the warm hospitality of the local community and preparing for your upcoming adventure towards Mu Gompa.
День 8. Acclimatization and Rest Day at the Nile - Hike to Mu Gompa
Today is designated as an acclimatization and exploration day in the upper Tsum Valley, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude while soaking in the spiritual essence of this remote Himalayan sanctuary. Although termed a “rest day,” today includes an enriching excursion to two of the most sacred and culturally significant sites in the region: Mu Gompa and Dhephu Doma Gompa.

We begin our morning hike with a gradual ascent from Nile Village (3,360m) to Mu Gompa, which sits at an elevation of 3,510 meters. This climb is relatively gentle and provides spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks and highland pastures. As you approach Mu Gompa, prayer flags, yak pastures, and the sheer tranquility of the landscape welcome you into one of the holiest places in Tsum Valley.

Mu Gompa is the largest and most significant monastery in the valley, established in 1985 AD. It belongs to the Kagyupa sect of Tibetan Buddhism and houses a precious collection of Kangyur scriptures, along with life-size statues of Avalokiteshwara, and revered figures such as Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) and Green Tara.
День 9. Trek from Nile to Chumling Village
After a peaceful night in Nile Village, we begin our descent through the Tsum Valley with a culturally rich and scenic return journey. Today’s trek takes us from Nile to Chumling, retracing our steps while allowing time to visit sacred sites and take in the landscapes from a different perspective.

After breakfast, we start our journey by hiking down the valley towards Rachen Gompa, one of the most important spiritual and cultural centers in the region. Located in the serene Shiar Khola Valley, Rachen Gompa is a Buddhist nunnery established in 1905 AD and affiliated with the Ngakpa sect, whose practitioners often refrain from consuming meat. The nunnery houses over a thousand clay statues of Avalokiteshwara, a large prayer wheel, and intricately painted murals that reflect the deep roots of Buddhism in this region. It offers a rare and peaceful insight into the religious life of women monks in the Himalayas.

After spending time exploring this spiritual sanctuary, we continue the trek to Chhokangparo, where we pause for lunch and rest. From here, we gradually descend through the beautiful landscapes of the Tsum Valley, passing through familiar villages and ancient mani walls.
День 10. Trek from Chumling Village to Deng Village
On this day of our Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley Trek, we bid farewell to the beautiful Tsum Valley as we begin our journey from Chumling Village toward Deng Village. This marks the transition from the Tsum Valley route back onto the main Manaslu Circuit Trail, which forms the second phase of the trek.

The trail first takes us past Lokpa Village, after which we cross a suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River, reconnecting us with the main route of the Manaslu Circuit. As we continue, the path leads through serene forests and traditional villages, showcasing Buddhist influences along the way. You’ll walk past stone archways and mani walls, adding spiritual and cultural depth to the journey.

After several hours of trekking, we arrive at Deng Village, a small settlement surrounded by mountains and farmland, where we will spend the night.
День 11. Trek from Deng to Namrung Village
Today’s trek follows the main trail toward Bihi Phedi, with an optional detour to Bihi Village—a traditional settlement located near the Manaslu Circuit but rarely visited by trekkers, as it lacks any lodge facilities. After exploring this area, the trail descends steeply to rejoin the main path, continuing toward Ghap, where we stop for lunch.

Beyond Ghap, the Budhi Gandaki Valley begins to widen, offering more open views of the surrounding landscape. As we continue, we cross a suspension bridge that spans the Budhi Gandaki River. From the bridge, you’ll witness a stunning sight of the river being channeled through a natural stone arch beneath your feet.

After crossing the bridge, a steady uphill climb on a well-crafted stone staircase leads us to Namrung Village. This village stands out for its impressive infrastructure, including a surprisingly clean and well-built—though relatively expensive—hotel offering a bit more comfort amidst the remote mountain setting.
День 12. Trek fro Namrung to Shyala Village
Today, we trek for about 5 to 6 hours, covering a distance of 11 kilometers, to reach Shyala Village (3,500m | 11,480ft), a scenic settlement nestled in the heart of the Manaslu region. The trail passes through alpine meadows and rhododendron forests, offering a peaceful natural environment along the way.

As you gain elevation, it’s essential to pace yourself, take deep breaths, and pause often to absorb the breathtaking mountain views surrounding you. Upon reaching Shyala, we check into a lodge where the rest of the day can be enjoyed in tranquility, embraced by the calm and majestic Himalayan backdrop.
День 13. Trek from Shyala to Sama Gaon Village Via Phungen Gompa
Today, you will trek to Sama Gaon, a beautiful village located at an altitude of 3,520 meters (11,549 feet), surrounded by hills and offering stunning Himalayan views.

Start your morning with a scenic hike from Shyala to Phungen Gompa (4,065m), a hidden monastery that provides breathtaking views of Mount Manaslu and the surrounding peaks. This peaceful gompa, set against the dramatic Himalayan backdrop, is an ideal place for quiet reflection and photography.

After exploring Phungen Gompa, you will return to Sama Gaon for lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue your trek to Samdo Village (3,875m).

Take some time to familiarize yourself with Sama Gaon, which is known for its traditional charm. It is also recommended to take a side trip either to Birendra Lake or back to Phungen Gompa for amazing scenic views and insights into local culture and anthropology.
День 14. Morning Hike to Birendra Lake or Manaslu Base Camp & Trek to Samdo Village
In the morning, enjoy a beautiful hike from Samagaun (3,530m) to Birendra Lake, a glacial lake that offers spectacular views of Mount Manaslu.

If you feel energetic and are well-acclimatized, you can choose to extend the hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4,800m), which provides stunning panoramic mountain views.

After returning to Samagaun for lunch, you will continue trekking to Samdo Village (3,860m), a picturesque settlement located near the Tibetan border.
The trail gradually ascends through alpine meadows and rugged terrain, with breathtaking mountain vistas along the way. Samdo is a traditional Tibetan village that offers a unique insight into high-altitude Himalayan life. Once you arrive, take some time to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude and the remote mountain atmosphere of Samdo.
День 15. Acclimatization and Rest day: Hike to Rui La (Tibetan Border)
Today is designated as a rest day to help you acclimatize to the high altitude. However, if you feel up to it, you can take a challenging hike to Rui La Pass, located near the Tibetan border.

This trek is a round trip of about eight hours, offering incredible close-up views of the majestic Himalayan mountain ranges and beautiful valleys along the way.

Once you reach Rui La Pass, you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, you will trek back down to Samdo to rest and prepare for the next day’s journey.
День 16. Trek Samdo to Dharamshala
Begin your day early in the village of Samdo, surrounded by stunning snow-covered mountain peaks. Your trek starts with a gentle climb across a plateau, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains in the Manaslu region. The scenery along the way is truly spectacular.

You will cover about 10 kilometers today, which usually takes around 4 to 5 hours without extended breaks. The trail passes through rocky slopes, yak grazing areas, and untouched alpine forests, showcasing the natural beauty of the region.

As you continue, you will reach Larkya Bazaar, an ancient market that once served as a key trade link between Tibet and Nepal. This archaeological site offers an interesting glimpse into the history of the area. Take a moment to soak in the atmosphere of what used to be a bustling trade route during the Middle Ages, now peaceful and quiet.

Further along the trail, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the massive Manaslu mountain, its peaks, and glaciers. The terrain becomes more demanding as you approach Dharamshala (High Camp), located at an altitude of about 4,480 meters.

The climb to Dharamshala is challenging, but the spectacular amphitheater of snow-capped mountains that surrounds you at this viewpoint is unforgettable. The dominating presence of Mount Manaslu creates an awe-inspiring and almost otherworldly experience.

You will spend the night at Dharamshala to acclimatize before your final ascent to Larkya La Pass the next day. Keep in mind that Dharamshala offers very basic facilities, as it serves mainly as a high-altitude rest stop rather than a full-service lodge. Expect simple accommodations with limited amenities.
День 17. Trek to Larke-La (5106m/16751ft.) then hike to Bhimtang
Today’s trek is one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of the Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley Trek. You will set off early from Dharamshala to cross the demanding Larkya La Pass and then descend to Bhimtang.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast to prepare for the physically intense climb ahead. The first half of the trek involves steep slopes, moraines, and large rocks as you steadily gain altitude. As you ascend, the views of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Manaslu Himal, become more spectacular, providing a stunning panoramic backdrop to your trek.

After several hours of climbing, you will reach the base of Larkya La Pass, which sits at approximately 5,135 meters (16,847 feet). This is the most adventurous part of the trek, and reaching the top of the pass brings a strong sense of accomplishment. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II.

The landscape changes dramatically as you begin your descent from Larkya La Pass. You will cross snowy fields and rocky paths before arriving at Bhimtang. From Bhimtang, enjoy views of Kangtega and Gauri Sankar. The descent is also challenging, so trekking poles are recommended for extra support on some sections.

The trail leads through high alpine meadows and rhododendron forests, offering a beautiful contrast to the high-altitude terrain. The distance from Dharamshala to Bhimtang is about 14 kilometers (8.7 miles), which typically takes 8 to 10 hours to complete, depending on weather and your pace.

Bhimtang, at around 3,720 meters (12,204 feet), is a charming place surrounded by towering mountains. It’s an ideal spot to rest, enjoy a warm cup of tea or local beverage, and take in the stunning views that surround you.
День 18. Trek from Bhimtang to Dharapani
Today marks the final day of trekking on the magnificent Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley Trek. Your journey takes you from Bhimtang to Dharapani, offering a delightful mix of beautiful landscapes, charming villages, and varied terrain that includes both uphill and downhill trails.

The distance between Bhimtang and Dharapani is approximately 19 kilometers and typically takes 6 to 7 hours, including breaks and time for lunch. This section of the trek is well-known for its diverse terrain, ranging from alpine pastures to dense forests and traditional Bhutanese-style villages.

You will begin the day by descending from Bhimtang, enjoying stunning views of the surrounding hills and the majestic peak of Manaslu, the highest mountain in the region. Along the way, you will pass through fresh, scenic environments filled with rhododendron trees, clear streams, and may even spot some wildlife.

The trail continues through picturesque villages like Karche and Gho, where you can observe the customs and traditions of the local people. You will then walk through rhododendron and oak forests, cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, and catch glimpses of Annapurna II, Langtang Lirung peaks, and the Marsyangdi Valley from the route.

The trek gradually ascends to the lovely village of Tilije, offering another chance to experience local culture and hospitality. After Tilije, the trail descends again towards Dharapani, passing neat terraced fields and small settlements.
The last stretch follows the Marsyangdi River, providing a peaceful end to your Manaslu Circuit Tsum Valley trek. As you move from alpine landscapes into the subtropical environment near Dharapani, you’ll notice the change in scenery and climate.

Throughout the day, you will be surrounded by breathtaking views of Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna, and Lamjung. The variety of landscapes—from snowy peaks to green pastures and forests—makes this final leg a fitting conclusion to your trek. When you arrive in Dharapani, take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty and the traditional stone houses that mark this quaint village, perfect for closing a day full of exploration.
День 19. Drive From Dharapani to Kathmandu or your preferred Destination
After enjoying breakfast in Dharapani, we will start an early morning drive. You will have the option to either drive back to Kathmandu for your departure or head to Pokhara for more adventurous activities. Pokhara offers a variety of exciting experiences, and if you wish, you can choose to spend extra time exploring this beautiful city.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, a special farewell dinner will be arranged at a traditional Nepali restaurant featuring cultural performances. During this dinner, we will celebrate your successful completion of the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit Trek, share experiences, gather your feedback, and present you with an Adventure Certificate along with a token of appreciation from Nepal.
День 20. Departure from Kathmandu
Your Nepal adventure concludes today. Spend your last hours enjoying a leisurely stroll through Kathmandu’s bustling streets or pick up souvenirs to remember your journey.

Our representative will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. As you leave, reflect on your incredible trek through one of Nepal’s most remote and spectacular regions — the majestic Manaslu Circuit. And of course, start dreaming about your next Himalayan adventure!

If you want to cancel, please inform us as soon as possible. Specific cancellation fees may additionally follow based on the timing of your cancellation relative to your trip's beginning date.

Unfortunately, we're unable to provide you with a complete refund. No refund can be made with your 20% improvement payment. If you already paid the overall amount of the package, you will be charged 20% of the bundle price as a cancellation rate.

Complete visa information to enter Nepal.

A visa for Nepal can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on the Nepal-India border, and Kodari and Rashuwagadi on the Nepal-China border.

Outside of Nepal, A visa can also be obtained at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission.

To renew a Visa you can go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, and Kathmandu.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

A valid Passport and 1 Passport-size photo.

Visa can be obtained only through payment of cash in the following currency: Euro, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, US Dollcurrenciesralian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar and Japanese Yen.

Credit cards, Indian currency, and Nepali currency are not accepted as payment of visa fees

The following visa fees have come into effect from 17 July 2019 (as per the Nepal Government's decision made on 26 May 2019.

15 Days (Multiple Entries): USD 30

30 Days (Multiple Entries): USD 50

90 Days (Multiple Entries): USD 125

Visa Extension (Within Valid Visa Period): USD 3 per day

Visa Extension (With Multiple Entries): Additional USD 25

Visa Extension (After Visa Expiration): Late fee of USD 5 per day

Please follow these simple procedures for a Tourist Visa on Arrival at the airport (TIA) if you have not acquired a Visa prior to boarding the plane.

1 st Step

Fill in the ' Arrival Card'

Fill in the Online ' Tourist Visa ' form (you can fill it up prior to your arrival by visiting our official website Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport). If you fill it out from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after. If so, you will have to fill it up again.

2nd Step

Make payment at the bank according to your visa requirement (15/30/90 Days)

Get the receipt

While you can use different modes of payments (at the visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

On Arrival Visa Fee at Entry Points,

15 Days – 30 USD

30 Days – 50 USD

90 Days – 125 USD

3rd Step

Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form, payment receipts, and your passport. Hand in your documents to the immigration officer for visa processing.

He/she issues visas to you upon his/her satisfaction.
